Last week we spent the day at a carriage auction. Danny grew up with driving horses and carriages, so he is thinking about dabbling back in it again. Isaac is sitting in a coal dumping carriage. The bed of this carriage actually lifts up and dumps. I had to take a picture of this next carriage because it confirms my suspicion that Cinderella was not a fairy tale, but in fact very very true.

This carriage interested me, it is like the old carriage taxis from New York. The kind I have seen in so many movies.

They had a field of odd and end items....

Inside is where the auctioneer would hold the auctions.

In Lebanon County there is a farm called Aboundingful Farm. That is where we purchased our Icelandic and Jacob sheep. So we stopped in for a visit and brought this adorable French Silk Angora Rabbit. I have never spun rabbit hair before.

We also brought home a leicester longwool. When we returned home it was close to midnight, so we put him in a holding pen. when I woke the next morning he had escaped his pen and was with the other sheep. My icelandic(the black one) escaped her field to be with him. Her coat of wool is so thick and bulky she did not feel the electric fence. here is Danny coaxing her back into the field.

Here is what my leicester longwool will look like when his wool grows out.
looks like you had a great time Jill....your sheep are cute ,is that your hubby feeding them?.....miss you and Beth ...
