Gardening

Our tomatoes are finally starting to come in. My plan is to cook up a pot full, every time I pick and put into jars. Carly my calico loves spending time with me in my garden.

The heat wave was really drying out the tomato plants, so I decided to straw them heavily to hold in the moisture. I did the same with my squash and cucumber plants.

Gardening requires lots of water - most of it in the form of perspiration.  ~Lou Erickson

  1. So what do you do with your tomatos - we are getting too many at once?
